FishTank Workshop

About
FishTank Workshop is a social enterprise which supports local young people at all stages of their creative journey.
Residents are placed on an 11 month programme with access to studio space, mentoring and networks in order to develop their skills and ideas and leave better able to access the creative industries.
Alongside the residency program we run a public program of talks, exhibitions and workshops.

Our Story
In January 2022, Argent LLP launched a competition to transform a vacant building into a vibrant community space. From 53 entries, FishTank, a youth entrepreneurship social enterprise, was selected as the winner.
FishTank converted the 1,200 sq. ft. space into a hub for creative young people, particularly those not yet benefiting from King’s Cross’s redevelopment. The ground floor houses an exhibition space and kitchen, while the first floor houses a podcast studio, relaxation room, and collaborative studio. FishTank Workshop opened it’s doors to the first group of young people in September 2023.
FishTank Workshop is currently developing a public facing program of events and workshops, further strengthening connections with local people, institutions and businesses.
